The kit.
The details are pretty good as it look comparable to Dragon's
M1A1/2 in 72nd scale. I'll be doing the first batch of M113A1's
that Pakistan Army received prior to the 1965 Indo-Pak War. I'm
used alot of artistic license along the way since most of pictures
I've are black and white and hardly any info is available online.
The build.
The gun looks abit out of shape. I cannibalised it from my T-80UD
(wasn't the best of kits), since thats the closest representation
of a Soviet/Chinese 12.7mm anti-aircraft MG that I could find.
The M113A1s seem to have been fitted with these guns. A .50 Browning
M2 included in the kit. The overall fit was quite good and the
numerous hatches could be displayed open. The urdu numbering by
the side was masked and sprayed on. Pastel chalk was used for
the weathering and dirt effect.
Vedict.
Great value for money, fast and easy build. Only lacks having
a detailed driver's compartment.
